Bossa Nova is still far...
Anyway he received a folk guitar for his seventh' birthday and began his first music band at the age of 14.The other members were Fred (guitar) and PZ (drums).They decided to play (and also re-arrange!) songs from Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby stills & Nash, Barclay James Harvest Of course their English wasn't really good but it didn't matter!
JB really wanted to play the guitar, but not in a academic way. So he learned it by listening guitarists he met, or during his holidays at Colioure.
High school has been a revelation for him, not really because of matters he learned in the classsrooms, but because he discovered at this period jazz and Bossa-Nova.

Then he decided to learn how to play classical guitar and wrote his first songs.
In the 90's he created a band called TABASCO and began to play on stage.
At the present time, he makes his first album as a song writer with his new band called BOSSA JADE and his influences are between Antonio Carlos Jobim and Henry Salvador, also between bossa-nova and pop music .... the kind of music that makes you smile , cry and also travel far away....... |
